![]() The only thing that would work better is having a P5 agent running on the E4 so workspaces did not have to persistantly mounted. Backups happen at night of course, and backup to LTO7. A read-only "backup" user account is created, and the workspaces are mounted on the backup device. ![]() We currently use Archiware P5 to back up multiple NAS and the Nexis E4. Simply copying files means the behavior is transparent, and I'm not tied up to any proprietary backup container formats. In my years of experience, those tools, that cost a fraction of the business-grade backup solutions, have been more reliable, straightforward, forward-compatible, and the support quality was on-par or superior.
